Milligear creations are made with attention to detail, obsession with quality, and a sense of style. All items are handcrafted by me in my studio, also known as the one "finished" room in the basement of my Seattle home. The milligear concept began in late 2006/early 2007, when I started envisioning and prototyping accessories for dogs and their people. This concept evolved into bags just for people, but dog and dog/people accessories remain a possible future development.

There are many reasons to feel good about a milligear purchase. Milligear is committed to fair labor practices. I am the only laborer in the company and I treat myself fairly. Milligear is also committed to being an environmentally friendly workplace. Because my commute is a walk downstairs, the carbon emissions in production are minimal. Furthermore, milligear products are cruelty free, ensuring that animal products are not used in the components of any bag.
